Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958, in extremely poor conditions. She was born at Los Angeles the 16th of September in 1958 to a mother who worked as an actor but failed in her endeavors, as well as a father who was a salesman for cars. Jennifer was the second child in her family and she frequently took her mother who worked as a schoolteacher, to theater performances. Jennifer found her performance amazing. Jennifer's divorce occurred when she turned five. Jennifer was brought up within British Columbia by her mother and moved in with her siblings. Jennifer wasn't a student however, as a child she was extremely artistic. In Canada Jennifer was the subject of bullying a lot. The theater interest began to wane throughout her high school years in the end, and consequently she was a regular participant in shows as an extra with the help of her mother. She was inspired by her mom to motivate all children in the family to have a passion and interest for performing arts. She then immediately started acting.
